Iran, China Trade Exchange Surpass $47bln in 2014

TEHRAN (FNA)- Trade exchange between Iran and China hit the new record of $47.5bln in 2014, showing around 36 percent of growth in comparison with its previous year, China's General Administration of Customs announced.
The Administration said in its latest report, the trade turnover between Iran and China had grown by 36% in 2014 compared to the previous year report.
In 2014, the trade turnover between the two countries reached $47.5bln compared to the previous year which was $35bln.
According to the report, China's exports in 2014 amounted to $22bln which enjoyed a growth of 87 percent compared to the previous year, which was $11.7bln.
Meanwhile, China's import from Iran in 2014 rose reportedly 10% and reached $25.5bln from $23.1bln in 2013.
Iran is currently China's third largest supplier of crude, providing Beijing with roughly 12 percent of its total annual oil consumption.
