Iran foreign exchange reaches $37.617 billion

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran's foreign trade statistics show the export and import volume of the country has reached $37.617 billion during the first five months of the Iranian calendar year beginning on 20 March 2012.
During this period of time, Iran's export volume reached 30.269 tonnes of goods with a value of $15.727 billion. It also imported 15.774 tonnes of goods which was worth $21.890 billion.
The value of non-oil exports of the country has decreased 11.78 percent during this time.
The UEA, China, Turkey, South Korea and Switzerland are respectively the main importers to Iran. Also Iraq, China, the UAE, Afghanistan and India have been the biggest markets of Iranian products purchasing 64 percent of the total exports.
