Iran to run first petrorefinary in Mideast

 

 

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran plan to launch the first petrorefinary in the Middle East in 2012, said the Manager of Integrated Planning of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC).

The refinery with the largest RFCC refining capacity in the Middle East would be operated in 2012, said Hamid Reza Seyyed Jafari.

He said Imam Khomeini Refinery would produce 16 million liters petrol with 90 and 95 Octane, 8.3 million liters of which is super gasoline.

The refining capacity of Imam Khomeini Refinary in Shazand City, Central Iran would be boosted to 250,000 barrels of light and heavy oil daily from 170,000 barrels light oil.

Also 7700 barrels propylene would be produced in the refinery
