Iran's 2nd nano center opened in China

The Secretary-General of Iran's Nanotechnology Initiative Council Saeid Sarkar at the opening ceremony of the center said that China and Iran are ranked the first and the fifth, respectively, in terms of nanotechnology in the world.

He also described the event as an important mechanism in line with the win-win technological cooperation and finding markets for Iran's nanotechnology products.

The center, which is constructed in cooperation with the industry and technology committee of Guangzhou municipality, chamber of commerce and the intellectual properties registration company (WTOIP), is located in a 200-square-meter building in a nanotechnology hub in Guangzhou.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Symposium of Promoting Industrialization of Innovative Technologies in China and Iran was held and a document on strategic cooperation was signed between Iran and Guangzhou authorities. The meeting was concluded by the tour of the participants at the exposition of Iran's nanotechnology achievements.

Iran's first nanotechnology center was opened in 2016 in Suzhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province. The center was aimed at market promotion and development of Iran's nanotechnology products.
